Saudi Arabia continues to withhold communications from prisoners of conscience

SANAA, June 28 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia has continued to withhold communications from prisoners of conscience that contacts with political detainees in the Kingdom.

The Saudi Prisoners of Conscience on Twitter account, said that the Specialized Criminal Court did not intentionally take any step regarding the political detainees’ files or arrested in cases of state security, during a ban imposed by the Saudi authorities due to the outbreak of Corona virus.

The recent decision issued by the Saudi Minister of Justice, Walid al-Samaani, has included to free prisoners involving only criminals and financial cases, and did not detainees in the state security cases.
