Iranian army chief: Our drones are a national industry and not linked to abroad

SANAA, June 15 (YPA) – The commander-in-chief of the Iranian army, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi, said that resettlement and non-subordination to foreigners are elements of the power in the drones manufacturing sector in his country’s army.
The Iranian “Fars” news agency reported that Mousavi expressed his hope to achieve the directions of the leader of the revolution, given that no restrictions were placed in the areas of developing the air force weapons in the Iranian army.
Mousavi stressed the strategic importance of the weapon and the capabilities and diversification of the drones in carrying out various missions.
Major General Mousavi inspected the 99th Anti-Air Force Series of the Army’s Ground Force, and found all updated equipment, according to the agency.
He described the group’s cadres as defenders of the state sky and the watchful eye of the army and its ground forces.
