Israeli occupation renews violation of Lebanese airspace, territorial waters

SANAA, June 15 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy aircraft on Monday renewed the breach of Lebanese airspace and territorial waters.

The Lebanese army said in a statement that “five hostile Israeli warplanes and reconnaissance violated Lebanese airspace over the town of Kafr Kila and carried out circular flights over the areas of Beirut and its suburbs in Baabda and Aley, all the way to the various Lebanese regions before leaving towards the occupied territories.”

The army command’s statement also indicated that an Israeli warship had violated Lebanese territorial waters in exchange for Ras Naqura, explaining that the issue of the breach was being pursued in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

The Israeli occupation continues its violations of Lebanon’s airspace, lands and territorial waters, striking at the wall of all international norms and laws, especially Resolution 1701.
