President praises air defense, missile force of army

SANAA, May 8 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday praised an achievement of an air defense and missile forces of the Yemeni army to deter the Saudi-led coalition’s escalation and crimes.

During his meeting with defense minister Mohammed Nasser al-Atafi, the president said that the country is being exposed to the aggression and an unjust siege require exerting more efforts and enhancing the combat readiness.

The meeting discussed the latest developments at the national arena and the crimes committed by the coalition against the Yemeni people.

The meeting touched upon high readiness and performance of the army in various military areas.
