STC’s military vehicles intensively deployed in Aden city

ADEN, May 13 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias on Tuesday intensified their presence on the main roads and streets of Aden city, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the STC militias pushed many military armored vehicles and cars into the city’s streets, and erected several military checkpoints.

The deployment of the transitional council militia comes in anticipation of any sudden military moves against them by loyalists of “Islah Party” from inside Aden, according to the sources.

The move coincided with the control of Islah party militants over the STC’s largest camps in east of Zinjbar city in Abyan province, during a battled called “Alfajr Aljadeed” launched by Islah to storm Aden in the middle of April.
