Coalition prevents arrival of 20 oil derivatives ships to Yemen
HODEIDAH, May 10 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition navy continues to detain 20 ships and tankers loaded with oil derivatives, in the context of the siege imposed by the coalition on Yemen, a source in Hodeidah port reported on Sunday.
The detained ships and tankers carry more than half a million tons of gasoline and diesel, the source added.
“Among the detained ships are ten oil derivative vessels that have been pirated for more than a month, , the last of which was held four days ago, despite obtaining international permits to empty their cargo at the port,” the source confirmed.
The source added that another ship has been detained for three days with more than 15 thousand tons of food.
