88 deaths, 11,000+ new cases of coronavirus recorded in Russia

SANAA, May 10 (YPA) – Russian health authorities on Sunday announced that 88 deaths and 11,012 cases of corona virus had been recorded, taking the overall toll to 209,688 cases and 1915 deaths.

These figures indicate that the rate of the spread of the epidemic in Russia maintains its stability after recording 10,669 cases on Saturday, and nearly that during the last days, while the number of daily deaths witnessed a decrease after it exceeded 100 cases yesterday Saturday.

42.2% of the newly infected patients did not show any symptoms of the disease.

The Russian State Operations Center to combat the Corona Virus said in a statement, according to the channel “Russia Today” through its website, that the total number of cures reached 34306, an increase of 2390 during the past day.

Most of the new cases return to the capital, Moscow, the largest epidemic in the country, which recorded 5,551 cases, as well as the Moscow province, where it announced 1133 new cases.

The total number of injuries in Moscow reached 10798, while deaths increased to 1058, an increase of 58 cases over the previous day.

The new data confirmed that 1011 patients recovered, bringing the total number of the recovered to 13798 people.

To date, Russia has carried out more than 5.4 million tests to detect the Corona virus.
