Sheikh Ali al-Harizi: Mahrah’s sons ready for the UAE’s moves in the province

MAHRAH, May 10 (YPA) – In a press statement, Sheikh Ali Salem al-Harizi, a former undersecretary of al-Mahrah Province, on Saturday accused Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates of continuing the coup against Hadi’s government in the southern provinces.

Al-Harizi called on the people of Socotra province to join the Hadi’s governor of the Socotra archipelago Ramzi Mahrous to defend the province from the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias.

He noted that there are practical procedures in place to pressure Dhalea province to withdraw its sons from Socotra.

Al-Harizi appealed to the people of Socotra province who are involved with the STc, to give priority to the province’s interests and to return to the right path.

There are UAE’s movements are taking place in Mahrah province, he said, noting that the people of the province will not allow it, stressing that the sons of Mahrah are ready for any emergency in the province to confront the UAE.
