Islah militias arrest southern journalist in Shabwa

SHABAWA, May 6 (YPA) – Islah Party’s militias in the occupied Shabwa province on Wednesday arrested the southern journalist and member of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) Saleh Mosawa.

Sources in Shabwa told Yemen Press Agency that the Islah militias at a military point in al-Aram area near the city of Ataq arrested the journalist Mosawa last Monday while he was returning from Aden province to Shabwa to spend the leave among his family members.

The journalist Mosawa was taken to an unknown destination, the sources added.

The security authorities of Hadi government did not issue any official statement regarding the arrest.

Islah militias in Shabwa province had previously arrested Mosawa on October 3, 2019, but he was released him later.
