Germany coronavirus death toll rises to 5,500

SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – Over the past 24 hours, German health authorities have reported 2,055 new cases of the new coronavirus (COViD-19), marking a slightly decline for second consecutive day.

This was confirmed by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for Infectious Diseases on Saturday.

The institute also confirmed that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has reached 152,438.

The death toll from infection rose during the last day by 179 new cases to 5,500.

In Germany yesterday, 2,337 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded, three days after the epidemic accelerated.
