SANAA, April 25 (YPA) – More than 82,000 people have been infected with the coronavirus globally, surpassing 2,790,000 cases, according to recent data released by Johns Hopkins University.
The rate of daily infections increased slightly, compared with about 80,300 the previous day.
The university, which is a reference in tracking corona’s developments in the world, added that the total number of death toll rises to 195,920, while 781,382 patients recovered.
The United States remains at the top of the most hit epidemic with total 890,500 infected cases, followed by Spin (219.800), Italy (193,000), France (159.500) and Germany (154.500).
