Sabiha tribes attack STC military sites in Lahj

LAHJ, April 13 (YPA) – Sabiha tribes of Lahj province on Monday an attacked and controlled over a number or the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias’ military sites in the province.

According to sources, the tribes took over five STC military checkpoints and arrested 36 militants of the STC during the attack on Sabarh area.

Meanwhile, Lahj governor Ahmed Turki appointed by the Saudi-backed exile Hadis’ government held a meeting earlier with military leaders in so-called Amaliqah brigades, calling to take measures to deter the STC’s violations against Sabiha tribes.

Earlier, Sabiha tribes had sent armed reinforcements after the STC forces attacked one of al-Amaliqah sites, in Sabrha and al-Faiyush, and seized 14 military vehicles.
