Al-Houthi advises coalition to desist from maneuvers, pick up comprehensive solution vision
SANAA, April 10 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council Mohammad Ali al-Houthi on Thursday called on Saudi-led coalition countries to “desist from political maneuvers and to pick up the comprehensive solution vision document to stop the war and lift the siege.
“The aggression countries’ continued escalation by bombing operations and military battles reflects the lack of seriousness in peace, and confirms that the statements made are just political maneuvers,” al-Houthi said in a tweet on Thursday evening.
He continued, saying: “The document (the comprehensive solution vision) was presented on the morning of Tuesday, April 7, and we also affirmed the readiness for peace with complete solutions on Wednesday morning, April 8, in the meeting with the UN envoy, and we are still waiting for the response as he promised.”
The vision as a whole affirms clear rationality, as it is far from exaggeration or confusion, he added. “It does not reflect the military gains achieved, but rather provided a solution that meets the aspiration of the Yemeni people within its minimum borders.”
Al-Houthi, in a telephone conversation with the Al-Masirah channel, Thursday night, said that “whoever kills the Yemeni people cannot be his assistant.”
He held Saudi Arabia responsible for the results of the siege, indicating that “the Yemeni people by its steadfastness have revealed the United States and its tools who have caused the greatest humanitarian tragedy.”
