Coalition forces commit heinous war crime against Marib tribes

MARIB, March 14 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces have detained a wounded member of Abidah tribe (al-Damashiqa) in a prison in Marib city, after kidnapping from a hospital in the city, and left him bleeding to death, sources reported on Saturday.

Mohammed ibn Ali Shalwan al-Damashqi al-Abaidi, one of wounded tribesmen of Abidah tribe, was kidnapped along with three of his companions from the military hospital in Marib city, and was left in the prison bleeding to death, the sources explained.

Al-Damashqi was wounded during the confrontations between the Abidah tribes and the coalition forces in Al-Erqein area last Thursday.

The sources revealed that al-Damashqi’s companions were forcibly disappeared, while his body was sent to the hospital refrigerator in the city of Marib.

Tribes in the city of Marib are subject to many crimes through military campaigns by the coalition forces, the most recent of which was the attack on al-Ashraf tribes’ areas on July 3, 2019, and the burning of their homes and farms.
