Interior Ministry accomplishes about 46,000 security achievements in 5 years

SANAA, Dec. 25 (YPA) – Nearly 46,930 security achievements have been accomplished by the Interior Ministry of the National Salvation Government since the beginning of the aggression in March 2015 until the end of 2019.

This came in a statement issued by the Interior Ministry during a press conference held in the capital Sanaa.

The statement stated that 296 hostile schemes were detected and thwarted, of which 23 were targeting the home front in 2019.

Many terrorist cells affiliated with al-Qaeda and ISIS organizations were discovered and arrested; including 13 cells in 2019, as well as 15 crimes harming the state security detected in 2019.

According to the statement, 1458 explosive devices were discovered and dismantled before their explosion after they had been planted by the aggression coalition mercenaries in public roads, markets, homes and mosques to target lives of Yemenis, of which 61 explosive devices in 2019.
