STC commander threatens to expel Islah militia from Shabwah

SHABWAH, Dec. 25 (YPA) – A commander of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) Ahmed Omar bin Farid threatened on Wednesday to expel the Saudi-backed Islah Party militias from Shabwah province.

Bin Farid said on his Twitter account that the Islah militias tried to divert attention for its crimes and violations in the province through calls to mobilize and move against the STC.

On Tuesday, Shabwah governor appointed by Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s government called on tribes and sheikhs of the province to mobilize and move against the STC militias in Shabwah.
