STC’s militias deploy military vehicles, establish checkpoints in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 10 (YPA) – Military vehicles belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias on Tuesday deployed intensively in several streets of Aden city, southern Yemen, sources reported.

The sources said that the transitional council’s militias pushed hundreds of their elements backed by armored vehicles to the main streets in Boriqa, Sheikh Othman and Khor Maksar districts and set up blocks and checkpoints on the roads linking between the districts.

The STC’s militias have not withdrawn from any military sites of Hadi’s forces, but rather have reinforced their presence in new areas in the city of Aden, the sources added.
