2 citizens injured due to collapse of houses in Dhamar
DHAMAR, Oct. 1 (YPA) – A woman and her son were slightly injured Monday night when two houses collapsed as a result of the rains and floods in Wassab district of Dhamar province.
According to source in the district, Saud Qaid, a widow, and her son Helmi Abdu Qaid Mohammed were wounded due to the collapse of their home in Saqa village of Wassab district as a result of heavy rain that fell on the area.
On the other hand, the rains damaged the house of Nabil Hameed Salem in al-Jabal village due to the heavy rains witnessed by the district.
During the past two months, the heavy rain flooded dozens of houses in al-Ahad area, the center of the district, and led to the cracking and collapse of many homes of citizens in various villages and areas in the district.
