Coalition forces continue to target civilians’ homes, property in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Saudi-Emirati led coalition’s mercenaries on Sunday evening continued to target civilians’ homes and property by artillery and machine guns in al-Tuhita and Bait al-Faqih districts of Hodeidah province, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the coalition’s mercenaries fired 12 artillery shells on civilians’ houses in al-Jabaliyah area in al-Tuhita and opened fire of machine guns towards the 50th Street in the city.

The mercenary forces also targeted houses of citizens in al-Jah area in Bait al-Faqih district, which caused damage to houses and property.

These crimes come in the context of the coalition forces’ escalation and their violations of the ceasefire aimed at undermining Sweden Agreement on Hodeidah.
