Hadramout residents demand opening of Al-Rayyan airport

HADRAMOUT, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Hundreds of citizens in the occupied province of Hadramout, eastern Yemen, on Sunday staged a vigil in Mukalla city, demanding the re-opening of Al-Rayyan airport, which is taken by the UAE forces as position for Patriot missiles, to ease citizens’ travel.

The participants in the vigil declared their support for the decisions of the province’s governor loyal to Saudi-led coalition Faraj al-Bahsani to stop exporting oil, until meeting the demands of the people in the province.

In the statement issued at the end of the vigil, the protesters demanded the provision of the electrical energy required for all districts of the province and the speed of recruiting 3,000 people from sons of the province in the security corps.
