SANAA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – A top diplomat in the Yemeni National delegation, Abdul Malik al-Ajri, has revealed why the U.S. and Saudi Arabia hastened to connect the attack on Abqaiq and Khurais oil refineries in eastern Saudi Arabia to Iran, referring to the point of escaping the obligations to stop the war on Yemen inside Saudi Arabia, and neutralizing Iran from the pressure to stop it.
“The goal of the American and Saudi Arabia to link two incidents of Abqaiq and Khurais plants to Iran, is to keep them away from any relationship with their war on Yemen so that they do not become a pressure factor on them to stop them,” Abdul Malik al-Ajri, a member of Ansarullah’s political bureau, said in a tweet on Wednesday night.
Al-Ajri attributed the attack on Iran’s Aramco facilities by stating that “the war has only destabilized Saudi Arabia and the region, and its repercussions threaten their interests. To stop its repercussion, they must stop the war on Yemen.”
“The second Balance of Deterrence operation on Abqaiq and Khurais oil refineries is a good example of the capabilities that The Yemeni forces have reached in terms of planning and implementation,” Brigadier Genersl Yahya Sare’e, the spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces said earlier.
“The drones that targeted Aramco were launched from three different points: the first point from which third-generation missiles were launched, which reach far distances that we first detect and have been used before. The second point was used to launch the Sammad-3 aircraft, which have a range of 1500-1700 km, and the third point launched aircraft with jet engines. We have used them [the jet aircraft] previously, and we will reveal them later. They included the use of “jamming technology for air defense systems.”
Yahya Sare’e also said the planes used to carry out the attack on the Aramco facilities at dawn on Saturday “have fission warheads carrying four precision bombs, and aircraft of all kinds can hide and maneuver and can hit the target from several angles.”
