SANAA, Sept. 9 (YPA) – The Shura Council’s Main Committee in its meeting on Monday reviewed the challenges facing the Council in the financial and administrative aspects and ways to overcome them.
The meeting, chaired by the Council’s Speaker Mohammed al-Aidarous and the Council’s member Mohammed Ali al-Houth, dealt with the tasks entrusted to the Council and its activities in the current exceptional phase that the country is going through as a result of the continued siege and aggression.
In the meeting, al-Houthi emphasized the importance of studies and reports submitted by the Shura Council in solving many issues.
He also stressed the importance of holding joint meetings of the Parliament and the Shura Council to enhance the state authorities’ work, especially in the current circumstances.
For his part, al-Aidarous noted to the regular meetings of the Council’s presidium and main committee to identify issues of priority and prepare studies and reports on them during the rest of the current year in accordance with the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state.
Al-Aidarous indicated to the general directives referred by the Supreme Political Council to the Shura Council during the last period, reviewing the accomplished tasks.
