UAE-backed militias prevent northern citizens to enter Mukalla city

HADHRAMAUT, Sept. 4 (YPA) – Militias of the so-called “Hadrami elite forces” funded by funded by the United Arb Emirates set up many security points in Mukalla city in Hardhramut province, eastern Yemen, Local sources reported on Tuesday.

According to the sources, the UAE-backed militias have created security checkpoints and prevented the people of the northern provinces from entering the city of Mukalla.

A number of travelers complained about these behaviors and abuses by the UAE-backed militias, which turned into committing violations against travelers, especially the abuses that take place at Ras Hoira point at the entrances to Mukalla.
