SANAA, Sept. 4 (YPA) – At least five people were killed and several injured when a bus carrying 27 Chinese tourists crashed on Wednesday on a highway in the northern Province of Rotorua in New Zealand, police said.
According to the Police, they had opened an investigation into the incident, which occurred amid bad weather conditions in an area considered a popular destination for Chinese tourists.
six people were injured in the incident, including two serious cases, according to Reuters.
The Chinese Embassy in New Zealand confirmed that it was working with the police to identify the victims.
