Hadi’s government transfers files from Aden Central Bank to Marib

ADEN,AUug. 26 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition backed government has begun major operations to transfer files and parcels of the Central Bank of Aden to Marib province.

“Rashid al-Haddad, a Yemeni economist, said in his tweet that “Shakeeb Hubaishi, vice chairman of the so-called Central Bank of Aden, is transferring files and packages from inside the bank in the province of Aden to the occupied province of Marib.
Al-Haddad said the money transfers come out of the bank to fuel clashes in Shabwah province between Saudi allies and the UAE.

Earlier on Sunday, a large truck loaded with billions of riyals overturned while coming from the Central Bank of Aden towards Marib province on the main road linking between Shabwa and Marib provinces.
The overturned money-laden truck was seized and confiscated by Shabwah elite forces, media sources said.

The sources explained that those funds were allocated to fuel the conflicts and fighting between Islah Party militias loyal to Saudi Arabia and the UAE-backed militias.

This incident exposed plans of Hafedh Maayad, governor of Aden’s central bank, which aimed to destroy Yemen’s economy through ongoing tampering with the public money, the sources added.
