Army’s artillery bombs coalition mercenaries in Jizan

JIZAN, Aug. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army’s artillery unit on Sunday shelled gatherings of Saudi army mercenaries east of al-Doud Mountain in Jizan region, which left dead and wounded in their ranks, an army official said.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni army backed by popular committees carried out an offensive on the Saudi troops’ positions off al-Dayer area in the same region, inflecting heavy losses on them.

In Jizan front also, the Yemeni army’s snipers shot dead a Sudanese mercenary soldier in the east of Jahfan site.

Earlier in the day, the army and committees forces managed to thwart an infiltration attempt by Saudi army mercenaries off Qais Mountain, killing and wounding several of them.
