Saudi-led coalition shells various areas in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Aug. 24 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries on early Saturday continued to bomb residential areas in Hodeidah province, western Yemen, in a continual violation of Sweden agreement, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the coalition-backed mercenaries bombed different parts of July 7 residential area using heavy machine gun, causing damages to civilians’ properties.

The official added that the coalition-backed mercenaries shelled several areas of Hays district using heavy and medium weapons.

on Friday, the Saudi-backed forces fired 9 mortars on separate areas in the northwest part of Hays district,causing damages to civilians’ properties.

Moreover, the coalition-backed mercenaries targeted residential July 7 area using heavy and medium machine guns.They also fired more than 7 mortars at Al-Qimah Hotel and al-Dhabiyani neighborhood in the 50th Street.
