Civilian killed by unknown gunmen in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 24 (YPA) – A civilian was killed on Friday in the southern port city of Aden, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

According to the sources, unknown gunmen in Sheikh Othman district opened fire towards the citizen,Muath Shawqi Bahamish, killing him instantly.

The gunmen fled the scene, one of the sources said.

The sources indicated that the assassination attack is the third one only in three days.

The attack was the latest in a series of assassinations targeting political figures, clerics and security officials in the UAE occupied city of Aden.

Aden and other southern provinces, under the control of the UAE occupation forces, have been witnessing mass assassinations amid the spread of terrorist groups of al-Qaeda and Daesh.
