5 leaders in Southern Transitional Council in Shabwah resign

SHABWAH, July 30 (YPA) – A number of leaders in the Southern Transitional Council in Bayhan District of Shabwah province resigned, two days after they announced the suspension of their membership, pro-coalition media reported on Tuesday.

According to pro-coalition media, five leaders have resigned for unknown reasons that have, but the media and Islah Party media said that deep differences between the council’s leaders are behind their resignation.

The sources confirmed that resigned leaders are: Adeeb Saleh Al-Abd, Head of the Information Department, Bayhan Mohammed Abdullah Karmoun, Head of Youth Department, Halima Ahmed Alawi, Head of Women’s Department, Salim Mohammed Hadair, Head of Awareness and Guidance Department, Ahmed Hussein al-Qudsi, head of the Department of Rights and Freedoms.
