Foreign Minister meets Michael Lollesgaard

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Wednesday with the outgoing chief of the UN monitoring mission in Hodeidah, Michael Lollesgaard.

At the meeting, the minister praised efforts by Lollesgaard in facilitating the implementation of the UN-brokered Stockholm Agreement, which led to unilaterally redeployment by the army as a step towards achieving peace.

Meanwhile, Lollesgaard said that the United Nations would continue exerting more efforts to reach a political solution and comprehensive peace in Yemen.
