Lightning kills 32 people in northern India

SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – At least 32 people have been killed by lightning, monsoon rains and thunderstorms in the past 24 hours in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, NDTV Reported on Monday.

13 others were injured due to lightning,the NDTV added.

According to the channel’s information, most of the victims were recorded in the cities of Kanpur and Fatehpur, where five people were killed each.

The state government has announced the allocation of ivory aid to the families of the victims.
