SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – Abdul-Malik Al-Ajri, a member of the Sanaa negotiating delegation, has accused the UN special envoy for Yemen of being biased in favor of Saudi Arabia rather than acting as a neutral mediator in the Yemeni crisis.
In a post on X on Sunday, Al-Ajri said the UN envoy was quick to condemn retaliatory attacks by the Yemeni Armed Forces, but remained silent on Saudi attacks against civilian facilities and infrastructure in Yemen.
Abdulmalik Alejri (@alejri77) October 11, 2026
He warned that such behaviour could further undermine the UN envoy’s role as a mediator and turn him into a tool for advancing Saudi interests.
