Deputy foreign minister warns against repercussions of possible escalation from Saudi-led coalition

SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the Salvation government, Hussein al-Izzi has responded to threat made by Saudi-led coalition to retaliate for the Yemeni missile attack on Saudi Abha airport.

On Wednesday night, Hussein al-Izzi sent a warning to the US and its allies not to commit any folly.

“If they make any folly the region will be driven into shocking events,” he said.

“If Washington and its allies commit any folly, the region will be on a date of shocking events,” Hussein al-Izzi said on Twitter.

“The escalation of the aggression will be faced with a greater escalation,” he added.

“We are still keen on peace and dealing positively with the efforts to calm and reduce tension on both sides,” deputy foreign minister Hussein al-Izzi concluded.
