Yemeni army forces repel two infiltration attempts of coalition in Taiz

TAIZ, June 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday repelled two infiltration attempts carried out by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition forces in Taiz province, southwestern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the mercenaries were killed and wounded in the battle which took place in Aba’ar front of Salah district.

Meanwhile, the official also confirmed that artillery forces had destroyed a 14.5 mm machine gun belonging to the mercenaries in Dhaba front.

Furthermore, the army forces thwarted two infiltration attempts carried out the coalition-backed mercenaries in Waziyah district, killing and wounding dozens of them, while the rest fled their sites.
