HADRAMOUT, May 28 (YPA) – A citizen was wounded by the UAE’s occupation militia in Mukalla city, the capital of Hadhramaut province in eastern Yemen, local sources reported on Monday.
According to the local sources, the so-called al-Hadrami Elite militias fired live bullets in order to disperse demonstrators who have been protesting since Sunday against deteriorating basic services such as electricity, water and lack of domestic gas.
The sources said that the UAE’s occupation militia shot at the protesters in al-Salam Street, injuring one.
