Israeli warplanes wage several airstrikes on Gaza Strip

SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes launched air raids on Palestinian resistance sites in the Gaza Strip early Thursday, Palestinian media reported.

According to the Palestine Now agency, Israeli occupation warplanes bombed the Palestinian resistance sites of in the north of the Gaza Strip.

No casualties among citizens have been reported, the Agency added.

The Israeli occupation army announced that its air force had attacked Hamas targets in response to the firing of heavily explosive balloons towards the Ghilaf settlements overnight.

According to Hebrew sources, sirens sounded this morning in the Gaza envelope settlements, followed by the sound of two explosions.

The occupation army announced that its forces had detected the firing of two rockets from Gaza and fell in an open area in the Negev, without causing injury or damage.
