PM opens project to supply solar-powered pumps in capital Sanaa

SANAA, April 30 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtour on Tuesday inaugurated a project to design and supply solar-powered pumps for 17 wells of the local water and sanitation corporation in the capital Sanaa with funding from UNICEF.

Following the inauguration, Dr. bin Habtour indicated that the project is one of the most vital projects, as it would provide clean drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people in the capital.

The premier expressed his appreciation to the World Bank, UNICEF and the other humanitarian organizations that help the Yemeni people in light of the brutal aggression against the country by Saudi-led coalition.
