Yemeni army besieges Al-Sadrin Camp in Dhalea

DHALEA, April 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday imposed a stifling siege on Al-Sadrin Camp, which includes fighters from the so-called “83rd artillery brigade” loyal to Saudi-led coalition, in east of Qataba city in Dhalea province.

“The army forces and popular committees were able to cut the supply lines to the camp and besieged it after controlling the strategic mountain of al-Shabaka and all the mountains overlooking the city,” military sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The clashes continued until the early hours of Tuesday evening in the western entrance of the city, while the army forces imposing the siege on the camp from the eastern, western and northern directions, the sources added.

Meanwhile, the army forces backed by the popular committees repelled attempts by some fighters of the so-called “30th armored brigade” and “security belt militia” to advance towards Naqil Qabwan and Azab north of Qataba.
