Dozens injured after train derails in India

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – Dozens of passengers were injured on Saturday after a train derailed in northern India, Indian media reported.

According to the Indian channel “NTV”, the derailment occurred around 1 a.m. near the village of Rama, which is a15 km from Kanpur city in Uttar Pradesh.

The train was heading from the city of Allahabad to Delhi.

The channel indicated that 15 ambulances had arrived at the scene to transport the injured to hospitals.
