SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – At least 46 Palestinian civilians on Friday were injured, 37 of them by live bullets, and dozens of tear gas, as a result of the Israeli occupation army’s repression of return marches on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Red Crescent and Gaza Strip hospitals reported that 46 injured, five of them were medics and four journalists, and a child was hit by a gas grenade in his head, after the Israeli army attack protesters during a march in the eastern part of Al Bureij camp.
A number of people were injured by tear gas fired by occupation soldiers on participants during a march near the “Malikah” (Queen), an Israeli military position in east of Gaza City, the agency said.
The Israeli forces also attacked citizens participating in the peaceful marches east of the town of Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, the towns of Khan Yunis and Rafah, with live bullets and tear gas canisters, causing suffocation, as well as affecting a Red Crescent society ambulance, Palestinian.
Clashes erupted in the framework of “return marches and break the siege”, under the slogan “Palestinian Prisoner Day”, which was revived by Palestinians two days ago.
