DALEA, March 31 (YPA) – Commander of the so-called “security belt battalion” loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed by the Yemeni army fire in Dalea province, pro-coalition media sources reported on Sunday.
“The security belt battalion’s commander Fawaz Ali Ahmed along with two field commanders were killed on Saturday in clashes with the army forces in Morais front,” said the sources.
The army forces, during the two past days, destroyed four tanks belonging to the coalition-backed militias in Dalea front and seized two tanks, a BTR vehicle and two military pick-up cars, as well as medium and heavy weapons.
