Health Minister calls UN to probe in coalition war crimes in Hajjah

HAJJAH, March. 27 (YPA) – Yemen’s Health Minister Taha Al-Mutawakil on Wednesday called on the United Nations (UN) to form a UN commission to probe the war crimes and massacres committed by Saudi-led coalition and its militias in Kosher district of Hajjah province.

The move came his visit with Hajjah governor Hilal al-Sufai to Kosher district for briefing on the heavy damage to houses and property of citizens caused by the coalition’s air strikes and its militias in the district.

Al-Mutawakil stressed that the heinous crime committed by the coalition in Talan area of the province is a good indication to target civilians over the four years.

The Minister held the coalition’s countries the full responsibility for the ongoing crimes and violations against the Yemeni people.
