Saudi-led coalition factions commit war crimes in Taiz

TAIZ, March. 21 (YPA) – So called of Abu-Abbas’ militias backed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s occupation forces accused on Thursday Saudi-backed Islah Islamic Part (Muslim Brotherhood) committed war crimes in Taiz city against civilians.

In a Abu Abbas’ statement on Facebook account said that the Muslim Brotherhood’s militants attacked and imposed a siege on Abu Abbas’ headquarters the old city of Taiz.

The statement added that the armed groups of the Islah Party launched indiscriminate and systematic shelling on residential areas in the city, causing criminal acts and committing crimes against citizens.

It held High Security Committee formed by Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s authorities the full responsibility on fierce actions and crimes carried out by the Islah party in the city.

Taiz city has seen violent clashes with various weapons between Saudi-backed militias and militants backed by the UAE since the Saudi-led coalition took over the city in 2016.
