Yemeni army launches offensive on Saudi military positions in Najran

NAJRAN, March 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday launched a large-scale attack on Saudi military positions in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces were able to retake control of several sites in Shabakha area.

Dozens of  Saudi-backed militants were killed and wounded in the battle which took place in the same site, the official added.

The Yemeni army stepped up its attack on the Saudi troops and its militants on border fronts in retaliation for committing war crimes and massacres against civilians.
