SANAA, March. 1 (YPA) – The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has disclosed that UN envoy Martin Griffiths has been informed of the announcement by the Revolution leader, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, of the unilateral implementation of Hodeidah agreement by Yemen.
“So far we have not received the starting signal,”, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday, referring to the unwillingness of the Saudi-led coalition to abide by the rules of the Sweden agreement.
“This clarification is to inform the Yemeni people that aggression is still causing starvation and rejecting peace. However it is now more effective to compete for peace,” argued al-Houthi, “just like Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan did in a clever step of releasing the Indian pilot in order to calm down tensions,” he said,
“What Khan has done, will remain admired and appreciated, unlike a country’s abilities to destroy and kill a people, and maintain a blockade, as does the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its allies,” he added.
