High tension between Islah party and UAE-backed militias over oil fields in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 28 (YPA) – Islah Party militias have pushed more significant military reinforcements around the Jannah Hunt oil fields in Ma’rib region, tribal sources have told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, the forces of the so-called 107th Brigade of the Islah party militias were deployed in the area of the oil field called Jannah Hunt, after the arrival of a large amount of forces from the Emirati-backed Shabwah Elite Forces to the vicinity.

The oil provinces are witnessing a bloody conflict between the UAE occupation militants and the Islah party militias, with the aim of controlling the oil fields.
