Government Submits Plan To Expand Planting Grains

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Board of directors of the general establishment for cereal development and production discussed on Sunday the plan of the institution for the year 2019 in Sanaa province.

The meeting was chaired by the minister of agriculture and irrigation, Abdu al-Malik al-Thour.

The meeting dealt with the importance of re-modify the plan to be comprehensive and integrated.

They stressed also on finding a mechanism for coordination and cooperation among the institution, the ministry and the general authority for agricultural research and extension.

They also discussed the importance of encouraging the farmers and support them by all what they need.

The importance of introducing modern agricultural techniques to help farmers was discussed and emphasized.
