Report: Army attacks Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, Mar. 25 (YPA) – The Yemen army have launched military operations, including artillery, missiles and snipping attacks against US-backed Saudi-led coalition soldiers and militias over the past 24 hours, according to the army reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

  • In Najran border province:

Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of Saudi soldiers and militias in Ajasher desert, Rejla camp, Makhrooq, DHabaa sites and in front of Khadhraa crossing.

Missile bombardment targeted gathering of Saudi soldiers and their fortifications in Akefa camp, beyond Sudais Moustahdath and site.

Two Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Shurfa site.

  • In Najran border province:

A  military vehicle, jeep type, carrying a Saudi officer and a number of soldiers in Daher site by an explosive device.

Two Saudi soldiers were shot dead in Qew village and Haskul site.

Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled in Haskul and Bejl sites.

  • In the border province of Asir:

3 Saudi-backed militias were gunned down in front of Alab crossing.

Yemen army artillery force shelled gatherings of Saudi-backed militias in Sud hills in front of Alab crossing.

  • In Nehm district:

Coalition force lost most of its sites, which it controlled in 2017 in Nehm front.

Over 120 of Saudi-backed militias were killed, including leaders.

Dozens of the militias and leaders were captured.

10 of military vehicles were destroyed.

The recent battle of Nehm has revealed the fragility of coalition militants and the confusion of coalition aircraft until they were vulnerable to its indiscriminate air raids.

2 of militias were gunned down in Yam area.

  • In Yemen province of Jawf:

An offensive operation was waged on militias’ sites in Haija and Bait-sintail of Maslub district, killing and wounding dozens.

Two of militias were shot dead in Ham front.

  • In Taiz province:

A military operation was carried out on the sites of militias in Sin mountain of Kadaha area, resulting of the deaths and injuries of dozens.

  • In Marib province:

Sniper unit of Yemen army shot dead a Saudi-backed militia in Dhaiq area.
