ADEN, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Fierce clashes broke out on Sunday between Saudi-led coalition rival militants in Aden province, southern Yemen, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the sources, the clashes broke out the central city of al-Mansoura.
The sources confirmed that commander of the emergency forces loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the city of Aden, “Captain Fawaz al-Naeeib”, was injured in the clashes that have erupted between gunmen in the Al-Mansoura district.
According to eyewitnesses, Al-Naqeeb led a campaign to demolish random buildings in the Kabuta area of al-Mansoura, but his campaign was attacked by armed gunmen, injuring him instantly.
The clashes have cut off a number of roads in the city of Aden, especially the Kaltex road, which connects all Aden’s directorates.
The clashes came a few days after clashes erupted between the so-called “Alalmihdar brigade’s troops” and gunmen loyal to Alsubahi which caused injuries of both sides.
