Update: Army’s snipers shoot five militants in Najran

NAJRAN, Feb. 8 (YPA) – Snipers unit of the Yemeni army on Friday were able to shoot five militants hired by Saudi army in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militants were killed at Boqa desert in sniping attacks, the official said.

Earlier in the day, the air defenses of the Yemeni army shot down a reconnaissance plane of Saudi-led coalition in Sawh area in the same region.
